Fagus tour of Northamptonshire
Take advantage of an opportunity to totally relax in the company of fellow garden lovers.
We will be staying in a comfortable hotel in the centre of Northampton within easy reach of the gardens.
Northamptonshire is full of surprises, a historic county where a king lost a battle and his crown. Enjoy beautiful countryside, picturesque villages, and many stately homes.
During the 3 days we will be visiting a range of different gardens including the following:
- Old Park Barn, a 3acre site lovingly created over the last 21 years from a rough field.
- The Old Rectory Quinton, a contemporary creation by multi award winning designer Anoushka Feiler.
- Lamport Hall, home to one of the largest “cutting” gardens in the country.
- Cottesbrooke Hall the absolute epitome of style.
- Ravensthorpe Nursery, although no longer a nursery, there may be an opportunity to buy plants
- Coton Manor which was winner of “The nations favourite Garden.”
The cost of this trip will be approximately £350 based on 2 people sharing (£35 supplement per night for single occupancy)
The cost includes: coach travel from Nailsea, D, B & B for 2 nights, entrance to all gardens, 2 lunches, 3 morning/afternoon refreshments and the driver’s tip which represents very good value.
