Privacy Policy

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation.  It is legislation that applies in the UK from 25th May 2018.  It has many similarities with the existing UK legislation – The Data Protection Act 1998, although with added requirements and responsibilities.Storage and processing of your membership information held securely on the Fagus database may be used in the following ways:

  • To process your membership payment each year
  • To send you news and information of events and activities organized by Fagus
  • To send you governance information including meeting dates, minutes and agendas
  • To update your information

As from May 2018, the membership form that you sign to join Fagus indicates your acceptance of Fagus securely holding your contact details.

Fagus will retain your information until you decide otherwise.
