A self-drive Visit to two Somerset gardens

The cost for the visit is £20 to include refreshments and bubbly or fruit juice.

10.30 am:  Mudgley Farm – This garden has stunning views of Glastonbury Tor and the Polden Hills.  It has a collection of roses, some from the Time Trail of Roses in Wells. The formal garden has roses topiary and lavender, beyond are meadows, fruit trees and a vineyard with 1,250 vines producing Mowbarton Estate sparkling wine, which can be tasted at the end of the visit and is available to buy.  There will also be refreshments on arrival.

2.30 pm: Westbrook House

A garden of 4 acres which was started in 2004, comprising 3 distinct gardens around the house with mixed herbaceous borders overflowing with colour and shrub borders leading to a meadow and orchard.
