FAGUS is a large proactive club of around 250 members and is run by a friendly committee and a pool of volunteers.
Many hands make light work and there are currently vacancies on the committee and also members who will be stepping down. We would love to hear from you if you would like to be involved. Committee meetings are every 6/8 weeks for about 2 hours and very enjoyable. We understand that not everyone can make each one. In normal times we hold them at one of our houses or garden (usually with cake and cuttings to take home!).
If you would like to come along to a committee meeting to find out what we do before deciding that is fine.
We also welcome volunteers to join a rota for an extra pair of hands on Lecture nights with serving drinks; selling tickets; helping on the charity table or saying hello to new members.
Please email our Secretary David Packham – fagussecretary@outlook.com – if you would like to find out more, you will be most welcome.
At a recent meeting, the following members were thanked for their contribution to FAGUS over many years. A hand thrown FAGUS pot were presented in August and October 2022.
