Tuesday, 8 February 2022 at 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
This visit to Parsonage Farm is avialable on Thursday 3rd or Tuesday 8th February 2022
Times available – 11.00 – 12.30 or 1.30 -3pm on each day.
This trip is on a self-drive basis, or travelling with a partner or someone you are in a bubble with. Numbers will be limited because of parking so sharing a lift, if that is possible, would help. The owners would like everyone to do a Lateral Flow test before the visit.
The cost of the trip will be £7 to include coffee/tea and biscuits (possibly cake at an additional cost on the day). Funds will go to the local church which provides a borrowed view for the garden.
Any queries contact Irene Randow on 07962214441 or Jen Thyer on 01275 462234
Part of the garden is on a slope so suitable footwear and a walking pole would be a good idea.
* If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer, please phone for details.
Snowdrop time at Parsonage Farm
First planted eighty-five years ago, it is the creation of two very knowledgeable gardeners, Jenny Pym and later Norma Reid.
The present owners Julie Parker & Charlie Tricks have enthusiastically embraced the challenge of restoration and further creation.
In early February camellias and hellebores will also be out with other early flowers and foliage. Galanthus ‘Atkinsii’ AGM will be out and covering the top bank. The regular G. nivalis and named varieties will peak in February and should be out by early Feb.
