Geoff has been gardening since the age of 7 and trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and was Head Gardener at Myddelton House, north London and Chairman of the London Group of (now) Plant Heritage, before becoming a garden writer and author.
He worked for the RHS and many UK garden publications before becoming Editor of Garden Answers. In 2013 he moved to Ireland to work creating a large private garden and now writes regularly for many garden publications including Garden News, Garden Answers and Landscape magazine among others and is creating his own garden from a 1 acre field. He is interested in all kinds of plants and grows veg, fruit and flowers.
