Lecture: The ‘X’ Factor: Top Tips for an Exciting Garden – Neil Ross

Neil Ross is a local garden designer, garden coach and teacher of RHS courses at Bristol Botanic Gardens. He was trained at the world-famous gardens of Sissinghurst and Great Dixter before travelling to spend 12 years in New Zealand where he developed Beverley McConnell’s iconic garden near Auckland (featured in Monty Don’s ‘Around the World in 80 Gardens’). In new Zealand Neil authored several books, while having regular columns in magazines and newspapers and advising on several large country gardens. Since returning to UK he has designed parks and gardens and worked on several exciting restoration projects. His work had appeared in several British gardening magazines and for several years he was Head Gardener at St Catherine’s Court near Bath.
