As part of the Soil Associations Organic September, we are hosting a number of inspiring and influential speakers in our meadow yurt.

Topics to get your pulse racing include:

  • Anton Rosenfeld, Garden Organic supported by North Somerset talks all things compost.
  • Chris Smith, Pennard Plants. Talks pests and diseases and how to get your own back the nature friendly way.
  • Fiona Haser Bizony, Electric Daisy Flower Farm.  Thanks a bunch, sustainable floristry on your doorstep (includes demo)
  • Stephen Moss, naturalist and author. Garden Birds, natures predator.
  • Richard Rickitt, co-editor of Beecraft. Inside the Hive – the fascinating lives of honey bees.
  • Jean Vernon, author and bee guru. Bee Safari, everything you wanted to know about wild bees.
  • Tom Massey, Steve Williams, Jane Porter and hosted by Sarah Mead. Three ground breaking designers discuss their differing approaches in an ever-changing environment.

Garden entrance is £6.00 with speaker sessions to be booked separately at £8.00, plus booking fees. Spaces are limited.

Our garden shop will be open for dairy goodies and garden gifts, plus the garden café will be open as usual serving tea, coffee, light lunches and cakes.
