A Visit to Parsonage Farm

On 18th & 22nd May 2021 we visited Parsonage Farm.

After the long days of lockdown, Julie Parker and Charlie Tricks invited fellow Fagus members to share their beautiful woodland garden.

First planted eighty-five years ago, it is the creation of two very knowledgeable gardeners, Jenny Pym and later Norma Reid. The present owners have enthusiastically embraced the challenge of restoration and further creation.

Although Covid prevented us enjoying the snowdrops and crocus in February, in May there will be Rhododendrons possibly late Camellias and Magnolias and a spectacular specimen of Davidia involucrata. Wander in peace and enjoy the outward views to the surrounding countryside.
